ChampionPoker Review

ChampionPoker is an online poker room launched in 2021 and part of the iPoker Network, giving players access to shared liquidity across cash games, tournaments, Twisters, Sit & Gos and several other formats.

The room is particularly attractive for players looking for ongoing rewards rather than a traditional welcome bonus. Players registering through our link start directly at the maximum 30% rakeback level, while the regular Rake Chase can add another 10% to around 16.67% cashback depending on the loyalty points earned.

ChampionPoker is also heavily geared towards crypto deposits and withdrawals, although more traditional e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller are available. From our own time playing on the site, the client feels familiar and straightforward, with the benefit of the larger iPoker player pool behind it.

In this ChampionPoker review, we look at its safety, games and traffic, software, promotions, rakeback, rake structure, payment options and support to see where the room stands for online poker players in 2026.

Is ChampionPoker Legit and Safe?

Yes. ChampionPoker is a real-money poker room operated by Riviera Entertainment N.V. and currently holds an active Curaçao Gaming Authority license under number OGL/2024/1367/1045. The license was granted in August 2025 and is listed as active by the regulator.

ChampionPoker also runs on Playtech’s iPoker Network, rather than operating an independent poker network. Playtech has operated iPoker since 2004 and provides the underlying poker platform and shared network infrastructure used by multiple brands.

From our own experience using ChampionPoker, deposits, gameplay and the desktop client have worked as expected. As with any offshore poker room, however, players should still check whether ChampionPoker is permitted in their country before registering.

RNG and Game Fairness

ChampionPoker uses the same underlying iPoker software infrastructure as other skins on the Playtech network. Independent poker-room databases also list the platform’s RNG certification as iTech Labs, a testing laboratory that specializes in independently testing online gaming systems and random number generators.

Because ChampionPoker shares the iPoker player pool, hands are not dealt inside a separate ChampionPoker-only ecosystem. The games run through Playtech’s network software, with the same core poker platform used across participating iPoker skins.

Overall, the combination of an active gambling license, an established operator behind the site and access to Playtech’s long-running iPoker infrastructure gives ChampionPoker several concrete trust signals beyond the room’s own marketing.

ChampionPoker Games and Traffic

ChampionPoker uses the iPoker Network’s shared player pool, so its traffic does not depend only on players registered directly with ChampionPoker. This gives the room access to a much larger liquidity pool across cash games, tournaments, Sit & Gos and Twisters. Playtech describes iPoker as one of its established network products, with a broad range of cash games, MTT formats and Sit & Go options available across participating operators.

The game selection is fairly broad, covering No-Limit Hold’em, Omaha, 6+ Hold’em, Twisters, Sit & Gos, MTTs, KO tournaments and All-In or Fold. Players can choose between traditional cash tables, scheduled tournaments and faster formats, with activity spread across several game types.

From our own testing, the ChampionPoker lobby showed around 10,000 players connected during peak periods. Traffic naturally varies throughout the day, but the shared iPoker liquidity helps maintain an active selection of games, particularly across the main cash game and tournament formats.

Cash Games and Poker Variants

The cash-game lobby covers more than just standard No Limit Hold’em. Available formats include:

  • No Limit Hold’em
  • Pot Limit Omaha
  • 5-Card PLO
  • Omaha Hi/Lo
  • 6+ Hold’em
  • Speed Poker
  • All-in or Fold

Tournaments and MTT Schedule

ChampionPoker gives players access to the shared iPoker tournament schedule, with MTTs running throughout the day across a wide range of buy-ins. The lobby includes regular freezeouts and re-entry events alongside PKOs, Mystery Bounties, 8-Max tournaments and multi-day events, so the selection is considerably broader than just standard NLH MTTs.

Sundays are particularly strong. In the schedule we checked, buy-ins ranged from just a few euros through to €500, with several substantial guarantees available without needing to play high stakes.

TournamentBuy-inGuarantee
Big Deuce KO€2€5,000
Mystery Mini€5€12,500
GTD 8-MAX€10€10,000
Sunday Eliminator€30€30,000
Sunday PKO Main€50€40,000
Sunday Ultra€50€100,000
Sunday Mysterium€100€40,000
Sunday Special€500€20,000

The €50 Sunday Ultra with €100,000 guaranteed was the standout event in the schedule we reviewed, but the lower end is also worth noting. A €5 Mystery Mini with a €12,500 guarantee and €2 knockout events make the Sunday schedule accessible even to smaller bankrolls.

ChampionPoker also benefits from iPoker’s regular live-event satellites and package tournaments. The lobby we checked included qualifiers connected to events such as the Irish Open, Battle of Malta, Triton ONE, Banco Bratislava and The Festival, giving tournament players another route into larger live events.

Tournament schedules and guarantees can change from week to week, but the overall mix is one of ChampionPoker’s stronger areas, especially for players who want a combination of low-to-mid buy-ins, knockout formats and larger Sunday guarantees.

ChampionPoker Software and User Experience

ChampionPoker runs on Playtech’s iPoker software, so the overall experience is familiar if you have played on other iPoker skins before. That is not necessarily a bad thing. The client is built more around functionality and game access than flashy design, which suits regular players better than overly stylised poker software.

From a usability point of view, the desktop client is easy to navigate. The lobby is clearly divided into cash games, Twisters, Sit & Gos, MTTs and other formats, and the filters make it straightforward to sort games by stakes, buy-in, table size and format. That matters most in a network environment, where a room lives or dies by how quickly players can actually find the games they want.

One feature that stands out for cash-game players is that you can only see player screen names after taking a seat. Before that, the lobby shows the table information, but not the identities of the players already seated. That helps reduce bumhunting and datamining, and makes the games feel less predatory than on rooms where table selection is driven too heavily by visible player lists.

At the tables themselves, ChampionPoker feels solid and practical. The interface is not especially modern-looking, but it is clear, stable and easy to play on. For many players, that matters more than cosmetic polish.

Built-In HUDs and Player Tools

The software includes a built-in HUD, and importantly, it is customizable. You can decide how player tendencies are classified by setting your own thresholds for stats such as VPIP and aggression frequency, then assign ranges to categories like tight, normal, loose, passive or aggressive.

ChampionPoker built-in HUD settings with customizable VPIP and aggression ranges
ChampionPoker lets players customize HUD ranges for stats such as VPIP and aggression frequency.

That makes the built-in HUD more useful than a fixed set of labels, because you can tune it to match how you personally read opponents rather than relying on ChampionPoker’s default definitions.

At the same time, ChampionPoker is not a closed ecosystem for serious players. You can also use external tracking software such as Hold’em Manager 3 and PokerTracker 4, which makes the room more appealing for regular grinders who want a fuller database and more advanced stats.

The client also supports the smaller quality-of-life tools that many players expect as standard, including:

  • Color coding opponents
  • Player notes
  • Customizable built-in HUD
  • Table layout and appearance customization
  • Customizable bet-sizing presets
  • Automatic stack top-up
  • External HUD and tracker support

None of these features are individually unique, but together they make a real difference to the day-to-day playing experience. A room does not need to reinvent poker software to be useful. It just needs to let players find games, take notes, track opponents and play without friction, and ChampionPoker does that well.

ChampionPoker App Review

ChampionPoker is also available on mobile, which is important for players who want to check the lobby, register for tournaments or play short sessions away from desktop.

ChampionPoker mobile app showing the lobby, cash game filters and poker table
The ChampionPoker mobile app includes the main lobby, cash game filters and full poker table view.

The mobile experience is best viewed as a practical extension of the desktop client, rather than a separate selling point. The key question is not whether the app is flashy, but whether it lets players do the things they actually need to do: browse the lobby, join games, multi-table reasonably well for mobile, and play without technical friction.

For most players, desktop will still be the better way to play serious volume, especially in cash games. But a decent mobile experience still matters for convenience, and ChampionPoker benefits from using the same established iPoker software ecosystem here rather than an untested proprietary app.

ChampionPoker Bonuses and Promotions

ChampionPoker does not offer a traditional welcome or deposit bonus, and there is no promo code required when registering. Instead, the room puts much more emphasis on ongoing promotions for active players

The most important recurring promotion is the Rake Chase, which rewards players based on the loyalty points they generate and can add roughly 10% to 16.67% extra cashback on top of the regular rakeback system.

There is also a steady rotation of missions, leaderboards and format-specific promotions inside the client. Recent examples include MTT Marathon, Twister Sprint and missions awarding tournament tickets or entries connected to events such as Triton ONE, Battle of Malta, King’s Rozvadov and the Irish Open.

The exact promotions change over time, so this is one area where it is worth checking the client regularly rather than treating the offer as a fixed bonus package. We cover the current missions, eligibility requirements and prize structures in our dedicated ChampionPoker promotions guide.

ChampionPoker Rakeback

ChampionPoker has a tiered loyalty system, but players registering through our link skip the usual progression and start directly at the maximum 30% rakeback level.

That makes the deal particularly attractive for regular cash-game and tournament players, because the full 30% rate is available from the start rather than only after reaching higher loyalty tiers through volume.

On top of this, the Rake Chase can add roughly 10% to 16.67% extra cashback, depending on the number of loyalty points earned. For higher-volume players, that can make the overall rewards significantly stronger than the headline 30% rate alone.

We cover the loyalty system, Rake Chase levels and how the percentages are calculated in our full ChampionPoker rakeback guide.

ChampionPoker Rake Structure

ChampionPoker uses the standard iPoker cash-game rake structure, with the amount taken from each pot depending on the stakes and number of players at the table. For No Limit and Pot Limit games, the rake is effectively 6.67% at the very lowest stakes, dropping to 5% from €0.10/€0.20 upward, with different caps depending on the limit and whether the table is heads-up or multi-handed.

No Limit and Pot Limit Cash Games

StakesRake2-Player Cap3-10 Player Cap

€3/€6€0.01 per €0.20 (5%)€1€4

€10/€20€1 per €20 (5%)€5€10
€25/€50+€1 per €20 (5%)€12.50€25

The main thing regular players should notice is that micro stakes are comparatively expensive, while the structure becomes more reasonable from €0.10/€0.20 upward. That makes the rakeback deal more relevant at the lower limits, where a larger percentage of each pot is being taken before rewards are considered.

Tournaments

ChampionPoker tournament fees are capped at 10% of the buy-in, with the exact amount depending on the tournament structure and stake. The fee is shown in the lobby before registration, so players can see the full cost before entering.

Twisters

Twister rake varies depending on the format and buy-in. Most standard Twisters charge 7%, while the lowest €0.25 games and the €200 level use lower rates.

FormatFee / Rake
Wild Twister7%
Twister €0.254%
Twister €1–€1007%
Twister €2005%

Sit & Gos

ChampionPoker offers several Sit & Go formats, including Heads-Up, Turbo, Hyper-Turbo and Double or Nothing games. The exact fee is shown in the lobby before registration and varies by format. Current published figures list 6% rake for Heads-Up SNGs, 9% for Turbo SNGs and 8% for Hyper-Turbo games.

ChampionPoker Account Creation and KYC

Creating a ChampionPoker account is straightforward, although the registration form asks for more information than some poker sites. You need to provide your name, date of birth, country, address, city, state, postal code, username and email, then verify your email and create a password.

There is no ChampionPoker promo code to enter during registration. If you sign up through our link, the account is automatically connected to our deal and starts at the maximum 30% rakeback level.

ChampionPoker also uses the country selected during registration to determine whether you are eligible to play. If your country appears as an available option in the sign-up form, you can create an account from that jurisdiction.

ChampionPoker KYC

ChampionPoker’s verification area is divided into three main checks:

  • Proof of identity – mandatory
  • Proof of address – mandatory
  • Proof of wealth – when specifically requested

Identity verification normally involves uploading a government-issued document such as a passport or national ID card, while proof of address can be completed with an eligible document showing your name and current address.

It is worth completing identity and address verification soon after opening the account, rather than waiting until you need to withdraw. Some ChampionPoker promotions, including the Rake Chase, only pay rewards once proof of identity has been completed. Documents can be uploaded directly through the ChampionPoker website.

Proof of wealth is different. This is not something most players should expect to complete as part of the standard registration process. ChampionPoker only requests it in specific cases, and in our experience this is very rare.

ChampionPoker Deposits and Withdrawals

ChampionPoker is primarily a crypto-friendly poker room, with cryptocurrency being the most natural option for players who want to deposit and withdraw directly through the cashier. However, it is not crypto-only: Skrill and Neteller are also available for players who prefer traditional e-wallets.

The minimum deposit starts at €10, although the exact minimum can depend on the payment method or cryptocurrency being used. Available methods and limits are shown directly in the cashier before a transaction is confirmed.

One thing we like about the setup is that ChampionPoker does not force players into crypto just because that is a major part of the room’s payment offering. Having Skrill and Neteller alongside the crypto options gives players a straightforward alternative without needing to use a bank card or convert funds into cryptocurrency first.

For withdrawals, the available options generally depend on the methods supported for your account and country. As always, players should complete any requested account verification before expecting larger withdrawals to be processed.

ChampionPoker Supported Countries

ChampionPoker accepts players from a wide range of international markets, including Brazil, most of Canada, Ireland, Finland, Norway, New Zealand, Japan, South Africa and several countries across Latin America, Asia and Europe.

Canada is accepted with two important exceptions: players from Ontario and Alberta cannot register. Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates are also excluded despite appearing on older accepted-country lists.

Major markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Australia are not currently included in ChampionPoker’s accepted-country list.

ChampionPoker Customer Support

ChampionPoker offers live chat support directly through its website, making it easy to contact the support team without leaving the site. Players can also get help by email, while the desktop client includes a dedicated Help section for account and software-related assistance.

For time-sensitive issues such as deposits, withdrawals, account verification or tournament problems, live chat is usually the most convenient option. From our own experience, email support has also been fairly quick to respond, which is useful when the issue does not require an immediate answer.

ChampionPoker Review: Final Verdict

ChampionPoker is a strong option for players who want access to the iPoker Network with a competitive ongoing rewards setup. Rather than relying on a large welcome bonus, the room puts more emphasis on rakeback, recurring promotions and the wider iPoker player pool.

The biggest advantage through ValueBluff is the 30% rakeback from the start, without having to work through the normal loyalty tiers. The Rake Chase can add further cashback on top, which makes ChampionPoker particularly interesting for regular cash-game and tournament players who generate consistent volume.

The software is mature and practical, with a customizable built-in HUD, support for external trackers such as HM3 and PT4, player notes, color coding and useful cash-game settings. We also like that player names are hidden until you sit at a cash table, which helps reduce bumhunting and datamining.

The main drawbacks are the lack of a traditional deposit bonus, relatively high rake at some lower stakes and the fact that ChampionPoker is unavailable in several major regulated markets. Even so, from our own experience, the room is easy to use, support has been responsive, and the combination of iPoker liquidity with 30% rakeback from day one makes it a very solid choice for regular players.
